Diving in Marbella for beginners: Discover Scuba explained

You don't need a certification, prior experience, or even much confidence in the water to breathe underwater for the first time. Discover Scuba is the gentle, guided way in — and Marbella is a lovely place to do it. Here's how it works.
What Discover Scuba is
It's a beginner experience, not a course: a qualified instructor takes you through the basics on the surface, then guides you on a shallow, calm dive, one-to-one. No exams, no prior training — just your first proper breaths underwater, at your own pace.
Where you'll do it
We start beginners at sheltered, shallow sites along the Marbella coast — calm water, good visibility and an easy entry from the boat. Everything is delivered with established local PADI dive centres, so you're in experienced, properly accredited hands throughout.
Divers and non-divers, same boat
This is the part people love: while one or two try a dive with the instructor, everyone else swims, sunbathes and relaxes on board. Up to four divers and four guests share the same private boat, so no one is left on shore — the whole group has a great day.
